The city of Chiavari and Chiavari Scherma , famous fencing club of FIS, the Italian Fencing Federation, awarded with silver and bronze medals for sporting merit, want to apply for the organisation and implementation of next European Veterans Fencing Championships 2017.

The city of Chiavari
Chiavari is set in front of the beautiful Gulf of Tigullio, near Portofino and Baia del Silenzio in Sestri Levante, jewels between the blue sea and the green Ligurian coast, blue and green that are the same colors of Chiavari and Chiavari Fencing Club, a perfect union of earth and sea.
Highways and railway lines that connect France and Italy pass through Chiavari and Cristoforo Colombo Airport of Genoa is only 30 minutes away from the city, an easy journey for anyone who wants to make it.
